Neighbours for Neighbours Hospice is the newest organization to join The Caring Alliance. Trained volunteers provide services throughout Guildwood, Highland Creek, West Hill and West Rouge. Time is freely given to provide non-medical and multi cultural support to those wishing to remain in their home.Everyone is welcome to attend this 10 week training workshop - anyone currently caring for the elderly or anyone considering becoming a caregiver or anyone wishing to learn new skills for future use.
This ( strictly non-medical ) programme is designed to show you how to provide support for dying love ones or friends, including their families.The course will cover all aspects of life’s end: physical, emotional and spiritual.Presenters will include a doctor, nurse, social worker, dietician and other professionals skilled in their field.
