CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

This Sunday, a St. Mark’s Congregational meeting is called to receive the 2011 financial reports and review the 2012 Budget.    The meeting will begin following a Potluck Lunch after service.   Please join us.

This week (January 8th) is the first Sunday after Epiphany.  Glen Greenwood will be leading this week’s service.

On November 10, Loreen Naylor spoke to members of St. Mark's who are serving as members of the various Ministry Teams.  These teams seek to live out our mission.

Loreen was both interesting and inspirational. She spoke of her experiences and understandings of stewardship.  There have been many requests for a printed version of her presentation.  She has graciously provided it for us to share.  You can download it [here].

 

December 1st, 12 pm - 1 pm

Come to St Marks and bring your lunch.  We will be answering twitter questions on HIV/AIDS.  By answering these questions  “Give-A-Day” is offering  the chance to win money towards our favorite HIV/AIDS charity. This will be an opportunity for us to discuss and converse around a disease that affects so many people in our world and the greater global world.

 

SENIORS CRAFT AND COOKING

The Storefront is hosting a “Welcome to Seniors (55+) Craft and Cooking” get-together on Thursday, November 24th from 11:30 to 2:30 downstairs at St. Mark’s.  There is no cost for this get-together.   There will be a lunch served, crafts and conversation on potential activities for seniors.
