Children and Youth

Sunday School meets from September through to June. The Sunday School program titled, “Action. Learn. Engage. Create.” Our Sunday School program is tailor made inspired by St. Mark’s mission statement, and the world around us. We use everything from the Newspaper to Television show clips to actively engage in conversation, learning, and art.
“Action. Learn. Engage. Create.” is designed for three age groups: Preschool, Grades Kindergarten to Grade Six, and Grade Six to Grade Twelve. The children/youth stay with the adults upstairs for the first part of the service, and then go downstairs. Children are welcome to stay with the adults upstairs if they wish.
Any adults looking to lend their talents to the Sunday School are always welcome. Please contact Jeffrey Dale through our Contacts page and he will set you up.
The youth are an important part of the St. Mark's family. They are quite active in many of the outreach programs; you'll often hear about the great projects they're participating in within the community. In addition to their work outside the church, the youth freely engage in worship and we appreciate their enthusiasm and fresh perspective.
There is a nursery downstairs for children three and under. This room is filled with many toys and is quite inviting for our youngest members.
UJIMA, 2010 - A YOUTH EVENT
On October 1st and 2nd several of our youth headed up to Stratford, Ontario to Camp Bimini for a fun filled youth retreat where they had the opportunity to interact with other youth from across the southwestern part of the province.
